About Me
As a business management graduate, I never thought I would fall in love with data analytics.
I got my start out of college working in finance and investment banking, where I began working with large datasets and sharpening the analytical side of my skillset.
From there, I transitioned to a retailer with an international presence as a financial reporting and planning analyst. In this role I wore many hats, and had exposure to many different facets of the business.
Through this exposure, I saw numerous opportunities to automate manual processes, produce improved data-driven insights for stakeholders, and really take the lead in utilizing the power of programming and modern tools to bring about positive change in the company. This led to my self-discovered love for Python and data analytics.
I have also worked in a data integration capacity, where I utilized MS SQL, PostgreSQL and leading ETL tools to clean, migrate, and archive legacy data for clients. This grew my SQL development skills tremendously - but I'm constantly growing in my SQL knowledge!
I spend my free time learning more about data analytics, Python, and developing tools to save time and money for people.
